Dallas Wall was born in Mountain Lake, Minnesota and graduated from Mountain Lake High School in 1978. In 1981 he graduated from Worthington Community College with an Associate of Arts degree and one year later graduated from Mid-America College of Funeral Services with a diploma in Funeral Service. After graduation, he served his 12 month apprenticeship at Hamilton's Funeral Home in Des Moines and continued to work there for another year. Dallas worked at Olsen Funeral Home in Fairmont, Minnesota for 5 years before moving to Fort Dodge in 1989. He currently is a certified eye enucleator for the Iowa Lions Eye Bank.
Dallas is married to Barb and they have two sons, Grant and Jordan. Dallas is a member of the First Evangelical Free Church in Fort Dodge where he has served as church chairman, and is a member of Gideon's International. Other community commitments include being a past member of Community Christian School's school board, past president of Community Christian School Parent Teacher Fellowship, member of Fort Dodge Noon Kiwanis Club, and member of the Fort Dodge Rifle and Pistol Club.
His professional organizations include the Iowa Funeral Directors Association, National Funeral Directors Association, Cremation Association of North America and the Order of the Golden Rule.
